May you find time this week to heal, to feel, to breathe, and to rest.

As always, we ask that in order to participate in the weekly megathread, one self-identifies as some form of disabled, which is broadly defined in the community sidebar:

“Disability” is an umbrella term which encompasses physical disabilities, emotional/psychiatric disabilities, neurodivergence, intellectual/developmental disabilities, sensory disabilities, invisible disabilities, and more. You do not have to have an official diagnosis to consider yourself disabled.

Mask up, love one another, and stay alive for one more week.

there is no such thing as “not disabled enough” to use a disability aid

if a cane/wheelchair/whatever will help you then you can just get one, acab includes the cop in your head

Legitimately sucks a lot at work. There’s a lot of people who would absolutely be safer if we assisted them but they don’t want us to. I understand wanting your autonomy etc but at least one of these people was told by a doctor we need to help them and they still refuse. Obviously your choice but I don’t mind helping and don’t want to see you get hurt.
