UBlue images are Fedora Atomic for developers, it should suit your needs while also making your system install very stable and very unlikely to break, in these you usually rely on Flatpak, Distrobox and Brew for stuff you need to install that is not already pre-installed. If you want tiling on a DE, there’s Krohnkite for KDE that I always see recommended.
