Israhell has also been fuelling every civil conflict in sudan (and the South Sudanese civil war), because Sudan used to host the largest communist party in the arab world and used to be an anti-imperialist aligned pan-Arab state. Sudanese socialists even co-wrote the green book.
Yeah but israel is the brits fault too. As is the the existence of the UAE and the popularity of Wahhabism which is the ideology behind the genocide in Sudan. Its all the fucking brits fault.
True but modern UK is second-fiddle to the USA and Israhell, they arent a player. And besides that UAE and Israhell are entirely able to act on their own as sub-empires under the US Empire.
The infrastructure of exploitation in Sudan was all set up by the brits even if they keep their involvement at arms length these days. Even if other players are getting shares of the profits the brits are the ones who started it.
The exploitation of colonial britain didn’t disappear they just switched to a more subtle means of extraction which includes lots of plausible deniability. Don’t underestimate their depravity they are still bathing in blood they just have other people do the killing for them.
Just because the uk doesn’t have a large military doesn’t mean they don’t have a significant role in geopolitics. They just do more soft power work and a large part of that is used to direct the wrath of usa. You think the war in ukraine was usa’s idea? Nah they got pushed into it by the brits. usa has nothing to gain in ukraine but russophobia in the british ruling class goes back centuries.
Look if you think the UK can dictate foreign policy of the Empire then I have a bridge to sell you. The British Empire required the CIA’s assistance to conduct their coups and subversions during the early Cold War, and the United States placed them in their proper place during the Suez Crisis. The financial domination of the Dollar and the intertwining of the British with the Americans goes back before the second world war.
The British share the same goals and attitudes as the American elite, which is why the assimilation of the UK was so successful but its obvious who is driving this car.
So the CIA did exactly what the british wanted them to do? You are making my point for me.
I never said that. Don’t hear things I am not saying.
I am saying you are underestimating the amount of pies the british have their fingers in and their ability to convince the usa to protect british interests. You seem to be implying that being second fiddle to the worlds largest, most aggressive military power means you don’t do anything or have any power. That’s silly.
When the biggest meanest guy in town is your best friend you don’t just sit on your hands. You go and start shit all over town and when you run into problems you call the big guy in to fix things. You want a flirt with a pretty girl? you tell the big guy that her boyfriend said he was stupid. You lose at dice? you tell him the other players robbed you.
The relationship between the brits and usa more complicated but quite similar to that. Britain does neo-imperialism on sly. When usa finds out (usually because it is going wrong) they come in guns blazing and demand the lions share of the profits. The suez moment wasn’t the end of british ambition it was just them finding the limit on how overt their imperialism can be.
