Ghosts are real but not necessarily malign. I had a ghost in my apartment, I suspect from a suicide before I moved in. It took me a number of years to even figure out that it was a ghost, but did in the absence of any other possible explanation. It is said that they are souls trapped in a place, or simply aren’t ready to move on to the great beyond. But sometimes they do leave, as in the case of my apartment, I assume, because it hasn’t manifested itself in a good fifteen to twenty years.
