As it stands, half of TWOW is already going to be focused on the stuff that was pushed out of ADWD, (the battle of ice, the battle of fire, cersei’s trial). I feel like George could just release that as a standalone shorter novel to feed me and my fellow hogs.
I feel like he’s planning to release them in rapid succession which is delaying TWOW but i also think he’ll die before accomplishing this goal
