Interesting idea, but how do you break the symmetry? I can’t really imagine ways to make each one of those spokes qualitatively unique and meaningful that doesn’t overcomplicate the whole thing. Like, what effect does the strengthening or weakening of religious organizations have on the security state?
it already looks a little brainwormed to me. What’s the distinction between “Security State” “CIA” and “Int’l Orgs”? How could anyone of these gain or lose influence independent of eachother?
Yeah it does seem hard to separate those in any useful way. I can think of the security state/int’l orgs including non-government arms like private surveillance corporations (Palantir, Ring) but those are definitely 100% reliant on the CIA and NSA to do anything, so they aren’t independent entities.
