I think Reform are basically stuck at 25-30% of the electorate at the moment and are trying to appear more “moderate” to expand their base as that won’t be enough for a durable majority. See their statement about the Online Safety Act too. They’re backed by American Christian fundamentalists at the end of the day so you can’t trust this one bit.
