I just cannot imagine caring about bideo game piracy and I especially cannot imagine being like Brazilian (?) or whatever and proudly paying astronomical sums for games and products and acting like you’re supporting a local bakery or something

The “guys” at MS and Sony were probably already fired

The craziest part of this is just shrugging off “well we didn’t get to keep all the music from the time of Beethoven” like that isn’t a genuine tragedy for humanity

Yeah, as if historians wouldn’t be delighted to get to hear the music of forgotten Z-tier composers from the time

Also, there are very understandable reasons as to why not all music from 300 years ago made it to present day, but none of them apply to digital rom files that can be infinitely copied

Some Latin American chuds (mostly late Gen X people) act like the console wars are still relevant and continue to pay huge amounts of money to support “their favorite company.” They also say weird stuff like, if you support the rival company, you’re a communist/woke. Funny enough, Microsoft and Sony have pressured these people into stopping trying to associate themselves with the companies.

The vast majority of video games can’t be played through legal means on current hardware, this includes some pretty big titles like NES Batman, so I’m going to advocate for piracy because, among other things, it keeps games playable.

I honestly have no idea, but it’s obviously not just the Batman license, otherwise whoever had that license could’ve rereleased it (the first TMNT NES game was released on Wii Virtual Console just as a point of comparison). Maybe it has something to do with licensing the Burton movie, or just the way licensed games worked back then: if you look at how many games were made based on that movie, it was something like five different ones by as many companies.

The amount of fascist-loser gamer Brazilians you see online is crazy. Saw one guy bragging about selling his nice GPUs and Mac computers to go all-in on Geforce Now game streaming or something.

Saw some other Brazilian spam-asking people who were mad about the always-online aspect of Gran Turismo 7 why they were bothered by it.

Guessing this is middle-class and upper-class dipshits flaunting their wealth, but it’s crazy how much I see this.
