Obviously the “rules-based international order” is not an even playing field, and certain countries get preferential treatment in almost identical situations. But the framing of liberal/capitalist media is one hell of a drug, it affects how most people in the West subconsciously see the world.
The RBIO is racist as fuck, but to explicitly admit this you have to declare both that the hegemonic power structure in the world is your enemy, and that you’ve been duped by it for years. That second part makes it particularly hard to admit.
Fortunately, in this case it is easy to ask the question of whether people in Donbass and Crimea deserve self-determination just like the people of Kosovo did. Taking a closer look at the region and its nuances, 11 years ago, was what made me stop automatically receiving the NATO worldview.

If anything, Donbas could be compared to Palestine. And Ukraine to Israel, same racism, same genocide, same controller. Hell, various Ukrainian officials openly said they want to be like Israel. There were (and maybe still are, idk) even Ukrainians participating in the genocide in Palestine.
The only real difference is that someone intervened for Donbass and attacked Ukraine while nobody did so for Palestine (yes i know Yemen do everything they can), so now we don’t read about similar genocide in Donbas. If someone invaded Israel after 8 october i bet my left nut that all those antiwar-ism westolefto libshits would be now be standing with Israel (hell some of them still are).
