It’s clippy revisionism, the nerds shit all over clippy when Microsoft forced him in there. Nobody really even remembers clippy outside of memes.
I’m pretty sure the only reason Clippy exists is because the tech was originally developed for Microsoft Bob and that was a huge flop, so they had to use it for something.
