I gotta say, I like MTG’s anti establishment leanings.

Honesty, it makes me see the appeal of that brand of MAGA. Same with the occasional thing from Steve Banon.

I mean, I wouldn’t vote for them without basically reversing entire platforms and disavowing a lot of people, and MTG’s a schoolyard bully getting attention. But the dems could learn a thing or two. And learn they don’t have to lick the boots of lobbyists to win over voters.

Nuance, in this case means recognizing that even raging anti-Semites can say things that are true.

I forgot how bad storm.front was, you don’t gotta hand it to MTG under any circumstances or any other antisemite who hates Israel for antisemitic reasons.

Also the whole connotation of “Israel owns the US government” is bad, obviously.

It is my opinion that this is all actively planned. That they’ll funnel people to the right over anti-israel stuff by having the democrats all bow down to Israel publically, and letting people like MTG do their public anti-israel comments, and propose bills she knows will never pass. Nothing will actually change, but they’ll manage to absorb the outrage caused by openly supporting a genocide, and it dissipate over time without accomplishing anything.

It’s like with AOC. She might give lip service to wanting to stop the genocide minimally, but then she will vote to give Israel more weapons. It’s all theatre.
