The Canadian post-rock band has pulled its discography from Spotify, Tidal, and Amazon Music, with Apple Music soon to follow

tldr: not just spotify, but they’re taking their stuff down from the other streamers as well

      You can subscribe to podcasts via RSS. I use AntennaPod on Android, but there are loads of other solutions. The whole point of podcasts is that you don’t need to go through ‘platforms’. Back in the day, the term for the client app was ‘podcatcher’ so that might be worth searching for on whatever os you’re using.
