my favorite part of the story is when Germany said “it’s austerity time” and then austered everywhere there is to austere till there was nothing left to austere.

Also the subplot when Germany continued to supply arms to the Euroanglo-Zionazi entity (despite “”“halting”“” and “”“suspending”“” arms trade and only “”“suspending”“” it on grounds that the arms aren’t used in Gaza, pinky promise) and Germany saying genocide “no longer justified” was just the cherry on top.

Yep the current government is a rightwing shit show. No money for social programs, because they spent more than available for weapons and taxbreaks for the rich.

If any of these so-called Western “democracies” were serious, then we wouldn’t have any semblance of a “center” or “right” wing. Parliamenterism/electoralism is a distraction from the fact that capitalism and Western imperialism financing said social programs and weapons are the problem, and that it is fueled by liberalism. Current state Germany is just the liberal version of Germany that came before it in the 1940s. The only notable difference between the two is the presentation style, which is looking a lot less different by the day.
