It is very obvious to anyone whose been paying attention to this sort of stuff that this person was groomed by the loosely affiliated network of the O9A/764/Terrorgram/etc. I’m open to hearing arguments otherwise, but I think it is a bit of stretch to say the people who carry out these massacres after coming into contact with these networks have a coherent ideological worldview. These people seem to just regurgitate the Nazism, mass shooter worship, and edgy memes being fed to them by these groups. I am not saying this to absolve the shooter of these crimes, but rather to illustrate that there’s a lot more going on here than just another horrificly alienated and isolated person becoming radicalized into a neo-Nazi mass shooter. It’s also very interesting that the media never mentions these connections, which seems very odd because the O9A in particular would be perfect fodder for a Satanic Panic 2.0. According to the substack Events in Ukraine, the O9A is basically headed by an FBI informant. Events in Ukraine’s series on the O9A continues to go on to detail that the O9A acts like decentralized international terror cells that can be activated at will, which the US and Ukrainian intelligence have done within Russia. I think this brings us to the conclusion that the very loose leash these groups have from their intelligence handlers and the lack of enforcement and coverage of their network, at least within the United States, are part of a strategy of tension. To what specific end, I don’t really know. Though to attempt to explain any of this to anyone not already aware of the US intelligence agencies’ coddling of Nazis and terrorists would make you come off as a conspiracy theorist who’s completely lost touch with reality, and maybe that’s the point. The other additional angle is that these Nazis finally got the trans mass shooter they’ve been wishcasting for for several years at this point. I would not be at all surprised to learn that these groups have been deliberately targeting severely isolated and alienated trans people to make something like this happen, which just feeds the transphobia machine what it has desperately desired for so long. There’s a lot to think about and I don’t really know what to do with all this information. If the media decides to run with the “trans mass shooter” narrative, then I think things are going to get far, far worse before there’s any hope of things getting better.
I have been trying to get people in my life informed about O9A and affiliates, and every time I get into it I immediately feel like a gag character in an X-Files episode. Like, yeah, it’s an esoteric Nazi Satan cult with ties to the intelligence state grooming teenagers into ritualistic murder-suicide and terrorism via Discord, what’s so hard to believe? 🙃

I don’t think this person believed in anything coherent and had no specific political message. It’s just a case of a very isolated, very mentally unwell person in a country with easy access to firearms and a disregard for human life.
