If they don’t know their shit and are teaching nonsense anyways they are not going to be receptive to correction. It’s not even unlikely that they will feel threatened and go after you. Lots of fragile inflated egos in academia.

In addition to getting your grade by jumping through their hoops, you can sometimes reach your classmates. But that’s for a study group or group work, not speaking up to the whole class.

In terms of getting justice, as in the university caring and doing something about it, you’ve got no chance going to admin. They will perceive this as a PR problem and immediately tell the prof who may retaliate. You could post to ratemyprofessor or something later. Or you could review their publications and see if they are so full of shit that they plagiarize, which is actually surprisingly common.

GOOD point, it needs to be brought into relief how a tenure prof is getting work they’re less prepared for than undergrads while the adjuncts are completely fucked over (and i know at least two at this school who could do the course better)

Correct them. Get scolded. Get apologised to.
Correct them again. Get scolded again. Get apologised to again.
Correct them again. Get scolded again. Get apologised to again and get the highest possible grade for the course on the condition of not attending any more classes in the course.

    Also:
Correct them. Get the decanate angry at you. End up in a mess.
