Imagine Jefferies is giving a press conference in his local district. ICE has set things up so while he’s bloviating - right down the street on the street they’re going to violently arrest an 80 something woman and charge her with assault when she’s leaving her favorite restuarant. ICE goes ahead with their plan and it works better than they could have ever hoped for. The chaos unfolds within so many seconds.

The problem with the joke is I got stuck. I can’t make a parody of what comes next because I too have no idea what Jefferies would do or what say. Whatever it would be - it’s 100% the wrong thing. The best I got is that an aide rushes up to him and whispers hints in his ear so he can seem to be a normal person with real human emotions.

He would continue preaching non-violent resistance while ICE thugs swarm in and beat the shit out of his audience
He might even be like “You know that’s unconstitutional, right? The courts said you can’t do that” and then do nothing else to intervene
