      Not a drone, but in 2016:Robot-delivered lethal explosive in Dallas police standoff was a first, experts say

      Unable to subdue the suspect without compromising their safety, police decided to end the standoff by attaching explosives to a bomb robot and detonating them near the suspect.

      And there was the time in 1985 Philly police dropped bombs from a helicopter. So police have killed with robots and they’ve killed with aerial bombardment. Only a matter of time before local PD start authorizing drone strikes.
