It’s crazy how the CIA and the rest of the US government has had however many decades to figure this out but you got there first while they’re still stumbling in the dark distributing Orwell’s socialist propaganda, which as we can see is responsible for the grand red wave of socialism that has overtaken American politics.
Edit: Alright, sorry about being snarky, though not enough to remove it ig, but more seriously I strongly encourage you to reread Animal Farm and take careful note of how he describes the general population of workers as being too stupid to even be oppressed because that would require having an independent will and ability to conceptualize things being better or worse beyond what they’re instructed, which Orwell takes great pains to tell us almost all of the working class was incapable of.
Orwell is so red they taught him in my school but they had to make sure to bring a veteran to explain how bad socialism and Stalin were afterward, just to make sure we didn’t get any ideas. Not that that was the teacher directly explaining the themes of the book Animal Farm.
Again, reread animal farm. He was not a socialist, he was a misanthropic freak who used his status as a supposed socialist as cover to do nothing but red bash even as fascism ran rampant.

He very obviously criticized the implementations he was witnessing, but still held to the ideals. It’s easy to imagine "No, no, not like that! "
