I am begging 4chan to accept they’re the cultural mainstream…they always have been but now more than ever. They just went from standing authority of culture online to standing authority of culture everywhere.
South Park is the same way. Matt Parker and Trey Stone are literally multimillionaires who have tremendous sway in the industry. They complain about celebrities being up their own asses and commenting on things they don’t understand, when they themselves fit that description.
Replace “Rock”/“Rock and roll” with “4chan” and you’ll have my exact thoughts.
