I could rant about this for longer than I have the time for. If you’re going to make me watch your fucking bullshit, at least make it good. So many ads makes me not want to buy the thing. I get it: it’s not easy coming up with material in a soul-crushing industry. But maybe just don’t air anything at all.
Right? I’ve worken in marketing (with a Bill Hicks attitude towards it), and better ads just sell more product. Bad ads are just lazy, and people tune them out. People don’t read ads. They read things they’re interested in, and sometimes they’re ads.
