Velociraptor is really cool in it’s own right. It was like a falcon that jumped off of cliffs instead of flying. Just cause J park got s. Wrong doesn’t mean they aren’t still really cool.

Spinos are neat! I think thr modern image is pretty cool too. Picturing dinos in general more as animals cause they were just that instead if thinking of how cool they’d be as movie monsters is so much more fun to think about. Spinosaurus is a great example. So much cooler to think of things like that wading around and chomping huge fishies

Allosaurus because they’re like T-Rex but cooler and they have three fingers and they were actually predators their whole lives instead of being the Cretaceous equivalent of Yogi Bear

yes, he was also a very influential paleontologist who propagated the idea that Tyrannosaurus was an obligate scavenger(there is direct evidence showing it was not)

I like the guys with the club tails. Otherwise my favorite dinosaurs are the things that technically aren’t, like plesiosaurs, crocodiles, and icthyosaurs.

For carnivore, Dilophosaurus (the real one not the Jurassic Park bozo), cool crests, not too big not too small size, nice shape

For herbivore, Parasaurolophus because dang, look at that cutie. I wanna ride one and get my ears blown out by the deafening toot it may or may not have produced sans-doot

Triceratops. First off, they’re herbivores. Second, they look really cool with horns and a beak. There’s not much we know about them, but I think it’s cool that their horns may have mostly been used to identify each other and they were likely quite social. I’m imagining them being something like a dinosaur version of a bison, which is incidentally my favorite mammal.
