minus-squareDes [she/her, they/them]@hexbear.netlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up8·edit-214 days agoif you can find them get “not smart” or “minimally smart” commercial monitors. they are more durable but lacking of “features”. the higher end have redundant fans for cooling to preserve the leds. also you can swap the mainboard! warning i don’t know if anything has changed recently. there used to be a kind of deal with b2b to give the commercial operator more control. you really just want a computer or commercial monitor as a tv and customize yourself (fuck you can tell i’ve read too many trump tweets lately because my parenthesis use is getting ridiculous)
