US Senator Lindsay Graham has just tweeted an article titled “Greta Thunberg sets sail with Gaza flotilla that aims to break Israeli naval blockade,” adding the comment, “Hope Greta and her friends can swim!”

Australian Zionist think tanker Arsen Ostrovsky somehow outdid Graham, tweeting “Oh look, the little jihadi Greta Thunberg is trying to get into Gaza, to show solidarity with Hamas. It would be so sad if something were to happen to her flotilla…”

There’s not a lot that can shock me about Israel and its supporters these days. But if you’d traveled back in time a few years ago it would be hard to explain to someone how we got to a timeline that includes Israel supporters openly advocating the assassination of Greta Thunberg.

The Swedish government and the EU should be issuing warnings to anyone who interferes with the flotilla. Maybe do a few Gripen flyovers in a show of support.

the reactionary elite think she’s going to be a future Lenin-like figure and I have no doubt she’ll be dealt with (or at least they will try to).

i mean Thiel has been screaming about her being the anti-christ or some unhinged nonsense. the ruling class is not doing well

They will speak it into being. As is so often the case. This reminds me of a lore backdrop from Legend of the Galactic Heroes, where old earth basically fell because their propaganda made sirus (an earth colony) look so powerful that all the other earth colonies rose up and joined it, believing they had a chance at winning.

They killed enough westerners to get Israel banished into the netherworld ages ago - if we follow western “logic”

But they will try and they will only make them be hated more. Killing the gambo star will make normies hate them even more.

Would it? idk if she publicly supported Palestine at that point, but supporting human rights is like a basic part of being a good person.

Israel starting a straight up genocide wouldn’t be unbelievable. Its supporters rabidly hating and wishing death on supporters of Palestine is basically a given. And they never really needed to be covert about it, they have the backing of the US government.

Not to sure myself, but considering how many zionists are calling her out for supposedly not caring about climate change anymore (because people can’t support more than one causemaybe-later-honey ) I have a feeling she either wasn’t as vocal about her support or it just wasn’t amplified as much as it is now after Oct.7th.

Actually Israelis are massively destroying the local ecosphere with their genocide. And its also not very good on the global climate as well.

So yes she actually does act in a very consistent with her OG climate activism. They will just say anything to distract.

Not really, she supported Ukraine who comitted at least 2 ecocides (3 if we believe offical versions) and attempted to do more in two different nuclear plants few times. Also she took part in the colour coup attemt in Georgia recently, which could potentially destabilise entire Caucasian region and plunge it into war yet again.

All due respect for actually placing herself at the target spot for Israel murderers, but she’s at the “antiwar-ism” place of the known Chinese meme and it’s evidently more important to her than the ecological consistency.

They will just say anything to distract.

I mean supporting Banderkraine is probably one thing they would like her for, but it’s only mean they aren’t consistent too, so sure. We shouldn’t just give uncritical suport where it isn’t due.

Her politics is largely the same as some Western radlib, but I’ll give her credit for her bravery. I don’t think the Zionist entity will kill her if they’re being rational, but then again, a substantial portion of the Zionist entity believe bioengineering a red heifer will bring about the Messiah, so who knows.

I don’t think they have any qualms, but just because the Israelis are racist Nazi genocidaires, don’t assume they are entirely irrational.

Killing Greta and everyone on that boat would be a PR disaster. Of course Israel will take a PR hit if they think it will bring them closer to their goals. But killing them doesn’t serve a purpose that simply boarding their boat and arresting them wouldn’t do (which is how I think this all ends IMO). If Greta and co. were armed I might feel differently, but stopping the boat in non-lethal ways serves the purpose and most people in the west will just shrug and say “eh, at least they didn’t kill them”.

That’s kinda the danger of all this discourse how obviously Israel will blow away that little boat. It’s setting that up as the expectation so anything less will feel like a relief.

Yeah, this is my take on it too. Killing Greta Thunberg doesn’t really do anything to advance Israel’s goals. She has no real power. She doesn’t facilitate aid deliveries nor is she really “in the way” of Israel’s ethnic cleansing campaign. I think they would certainly like to kill her out of petty spite, but I don’t think they’ll do it.

that entirely doing a lot of heavy lifting.

but yeah, you’re probably correct on how this’ll go down, the fascist freaks probably arent going to do Mavi Marmara this time.

She’s simultaneously too famous and not harmful enough for them to directly kill her with the IOF. Most likely, they’ll try to find more clandestine means, starting with siccing fascist goons on her and letting them do the dirty work. I put Hasan in the same category as well. He and she really need to think about security.

Israel still kind of cares about PR as a figleaf. They are currently using aid as a way to herd people while arming desperate Palestinians to attack other aid shipments so they have a reason to stop them.

If they acted with complete impunity they wouldn’t go through that much trouble.
