The main guy looks exactly like a dude I know online. He’s also wearing a black and lavender plaid shirt with the Star Wars Imperial logo on one of the chest pockets.
The had a cloth covering the case of N64 games in the local game store so they could do a little reveal for the N64 games. That was kinda’ lame. It’s spending more time talking about the games though than the NES one at least.
Just visually hanging over the shoulder of a guy buying retro games is so fucking lame.
Jesus. I think that’s cheaper in North America. The top rare/expensive games they showed was rental store exclusives and some of the good but underappreciated games like the Goemon games, Snowboard Kids 2, Harvest Moon, Ogre Battle, etc. No Kirby 64 as far as I saw.

“I was so excited to see that many N64 games that I forgot to look at the prices”
-guy making a documentary on buying N64 games
Even I know the price of the popular ones because I once wanted to buy Kirby 64 once and immediately got pissed off.
350 AUD, fuck right off.
Thank god flash carts and roms exist

I know eBay prices are always bad, but this should give you an idea of the state of retro gaming when something becomes a “hidden gem”
Fuuuck scalpers. I mean, I get that the PAL version is going to be rarer than the US version, but that’s still way overpriced.
Dude bought 10 games twice by accident in the first couple days or something. Come on, dude.
