There’s a version of this where Biden makes up a fake plan to invade Yemen right as he leaves office, then passes it on to Trump in the hope that Trump runs with it, takes all the credit, and publicly eats shit. It says a lot about Biden that there isn’t the smallest part of me that wonders if that could be what happened.
Biden genuinely thinks occupying Afghanistan and Iraq were good decisions, and the only thing that stopped him from doing it again in the waning hours of his presidency was his genuine respect for Donald Trump’s judgement.
