And they probably intend to have people held be at risk of dying from the weather, like hurricanes and such that, oh no, ‘nobody could have predicted’ because they have completely gutted hurricane and disaster preparedness from NOAA and other agencies.
That’s absolutely the point. They have specifically said the horrific conditions and risk of weather-related disaster is a “deterrent.” Just because they’re not directly executing people doesn’t mean they’re not trying to kill them.
