    That’s what we’re willing to spend to keep airlines profitable because people get spooked off flying due to a really weird and niche terrorist attack for like, a week,

    While I’m sure they appreciated this, I have always believed that the primary purpose of the TSA was to normalize the police state

    edit: I believe even preventing plane related demolition was secondary to this
