I cant say I have had problems (I can recall of) gaming on Windows in the last 15+ years . On the few occasions I play older games like Dawn of War 1 it didnt pose any problems …but I can see if one plays a lot of older games (which I dont) modern windows is probably a subpar experience.

Im sure hexbear would approve. The game is woke despite being from the era of the dinosaurs 1997.

Fuck I just wanna chill and play games but right now im too drunk and I got to do work tomorrow. Capitalism is neat cause you get 20 variants of Monster Energy that kill you but the real horror of capitalism is to realize you gotta work so you can buy the energy drink that kills you.

I know windows sucks… BUT I want all my games to work and not have to troubleshoot stuff. (Could I troubleshoot stuff “probably”?)

But I wanna be lazy not smart. Are there distros that do that yet (be gentle im drunk atm)

Here are my two cents: I freaking love Stellaris, but Id probably wait a couple of months until the current version gets more patches and hotfixes.

Victoria 3, while not my favorite, is fun, but it’s getting a sizeable update in June, so it’s a wait and see situation for now.

Out of the modern Paradox games, I think CK3 is the easiest to get into and the one in the best state right now.

If you like the idea of playing as a character, there’s little reason not to recommend CK3. Mind you its best played as a rpg and not as a map painter.
