I recently got into tracking charts for commodities in order to get a more complete picture for what is happening in the world of finance capital. Does anyone have a good explanation for this 20% Cryptocurrency expansion over the past month? What nefarious things are happening?

Basically the chart shows that the value of the combined total of all crypto currencies has increased about 30% since a low in mid June 2025 (after the 12 day war) which is 900 billion USD.

Bitcoin is also “worth” almost 120,000 US dollars now 😳

I’ve also seen people discuss that the US government is propping up the “tether” “stablecoin” because it pumps up the Cryptocurrency market. I dont even know where to look to find good analysis of it besides a Ben Norton video. Is there any good articles I can read more on this?

Important clarification regarding Lebanon:

1. Hezbollah media has not yet made any official announcement. Those “OSINT” and other outlets that say Hezbollah and its supporters are calling to overthrow the Lebanese government are spreading dangerous lies.

2. Hezbollah will not willingly disarm as long as the zionist cancer exists and everyone knows it. Even if the leadership of Hezbollah agreed to it (which they won’t) the fighters themselves and the mass base for the party would never agree to it. No one can disarm Hezbollah.

3. Hezbollah is not just a phenomenon of Lebanese Shia. Yes most of its supporters are Shia but those pro-resistance Lebanese across every sect and cultural group in Lebanon. Those turning it into a sectarian discussion are doing the work of the enemies. Georges Abdallah, a Lebanese Christian communist, literally spent 41 years in jail and then came out and said this exact thing last week.

There is an interesting relevant history. Regarding the UN resolution 678 which justified the imperialist destruction and genocide of Iraq in the 90’s, the US pressured all members on the security council to support it. Even non-permanent members.

With America’s place in the world, not to mention Mr. Bush’s political future, riding on the outcome of the gulf crisis, the Administration never hesitated to let other nations know that their support for this resolution was vital to Washington, which would remember its friends, and its foes. Minutes after the Yemeni elegate joined the Cubans in voting against the resolution at the Security Council on Thursday, a senior American diplomat was instructed to tell him: “That was the most expensive no vote you ever cast” – meaning it would result in an end to America’s more than $70 million in foreign aid to Yemen.

Thankfully the US has much less leverage against Russia and China today compared to 35 years ago but I think its readily apparent that the UN “peacekeepers” are generally just used as cudgels on behalf of US-led NATO domination. Examples from Haiti to Lebanon to Mali

I would much prefer a UN that is utterly powerless than one that is used to justify genocidal sanctions on Iraq or Iran for instance.
