So far, I’m thinking about setting it in the AC-130 bomb deck, showing a little dialogue/debate between a guy who joined the military for valour and patriotism, and a guy who joined up to escape poverty - all while they prepare to load bombs, while bemoaning the fact that Iraqis call them The Great Satan and The Angel of Death.

My purpose would be to interrogate that idea of joining up to pay off your debts - a debate thats been had often on Hexbear - that I think is settled - No, it’s not okay to join imperialists and kill people to pay off your student debt.

It’s sort of putting a republican soldier vs a democrat one, I guess.

I’m just struggling to find the spark in it that makes the action feel tense. Jewish, Christian, Islam, all these abrahamic faiths are part of the same blob, and I think these days Islam often gets a bit of a shielding from leftists because real islamophobia is so prevalent and is such a powerful psyop - plus there’s a high coincidence of anti imperialist sentiment in Islamic countries (due to the various empires pillaging of them for 200 years or more).

In of itself, and within leftist circles I feel it’s fair to say that Islam has much in common with Christianity and Judaism, which is to say that it’s also unscientific dogma that has an innate level of conservatism within its sacred texts.

In these times, where you get served up porn content on your explore page for no good reason, I think porn consumption can easily become unhealthily pushed upon you.
