Did he feel a stronger sense of connection to his immediate community and nation as whole in Soviet times? I mean that a bit more broadly than actual personal relationships as those tend to ebb and flow as you age, just curious if there was any real “camaraderie” between relative strangers

I’ve gone on long diatribes about this before but what these types of people mean when they say “political” is anything that challenges the status quo in even the most minute way. We already live in a facist militarized society so a hyperbolic parody of that just speaks to them as normal and the way things should be (i.e. not political). Also I don’t play the game so I’m really hoping “bug divers” is a reference to something in a game and unrelated to something else i saw Chinese players defending a certain city

I’m looking for some good history podcasts that don’t just regurgitate NATOpedia talking points, any suggestions? Lions led by donkeys, Revolutions, and Blowback are some bangers I quite enjoy but I always need more sloppa

Yes, the burger is the exquisite crown jewel, holy manna sent from god as a symbol of the achievements of white “civilization”. Truly makes all the hundreds of years of genocide and unspeakable atrocities worth it.

Was briefly on YouTube while here in Prague and all of the recommended videos were some variation of “China bad” with the obligatory grumpy white guy in the thumbnail. A fun bonus was one titled “the satisfying downfall of just stop oil” with a clearly ai generated picture of the “tumblr hair woman” stereotype the right is still fixated on. Just makes me so depressed to see that the brainrot transcends all borders and is pushed to the top of the algorithm everywhere
