Christianity is rotten to its core and is incompatible with a Marxist frame of thoughtEnglish0·1 month agoit’s weird to stake out this hill and die on it.
You have one flattened perspective on one religion and an axe to grind, but you’re bringing nothing interesting to the table, but a whole lot of bile- and for whom, exactly? is this an exercise in your own catharsis? It just looks like emotionally repressed anger at a target that’s not actually the source of your woes, big or small.
RiotDoll [she/her, she/her]@hexbear.netto politics@hexbear.net•The numbers are in, police violence has gotten worse under a Democratic admin (Guardian: US police use force on 300,000 people a year, with numbers rising since George Floyd)English0·9 months agoDerek Chauvin was sin eater for the entirety of the police force. i invoke my dead name in the past tense to quote people talking to/at me, but otherwise i refer to past self as my chosen name.
using the new name is more respectful, helps you learn the name yourself, helps you associate that person with the new name, and using the deadname just means you’re more likely to use it in even less justifiable contexts.
I dont even hate my dead name! I made it my middle name! but absolutely still… use the new name.
