Just finished reading The Vegeterian by Han Kang. I think more people should read it but to say it was a fun book goes too far. Disturbing is a better word I guess.

Ultimately it is a critique of the societal role of women in (Korean) society. Also important was the idea that the ultimate enforcer of societal roles is violence and that those who will reject it will be subjected to violence, while at the same time receive another form of violence for not rejecting it.

Gathered all of my coworkers to discuss the making of a plan to undermine our management as our working conditions are horrendous. And we did come up with a proposal.
