Slugma has room to evolve and grow and also has lava powers. Alakazam has gotten to the end of its road and has no room for growth, and also doesn’t have a lava body.

I love the details, like the shell bell and poke flute on the mantle to show that it’s a calm, caring hearth. And joltik helping out with the stitching (well, trying to help), and Anna’s scarf being a sizzlipede because it’s a fire type Pokemon, so a warming motif. They’re just all ways of making the short have more depth in the Pokemon world
