Coworker: “I’m on a keto diet, I’ve been having 6 eggs for breakfast everyday”
Me: “Wow, that sounds taxing on your liver, maybe check your plan with a doctor nutritionist”
Coworker: “Yes, it was my gym nutritionist who designed the diet, I also do protein shakes”
One of my pet peeves is people doling out advice for science and medicine way outside of their field. Like this guy probably took a 10 hour online course to tell people to eat more cheap protein.
Although teen me absolutely had 6 eggs for breakfast to bulk up. And then absolutely felt like shit for the next 4 hours.
I guess I did the same but my main message was go see a doctor instead of basing your health on instagram
Lol, this guy thinks we have “Doctor” money. Mods! We got one!
Lol. Personally, I’ve got Costco pharmacy money, at best. Which is good, because it’s right next to the protein supplement aisle.
Oh you’re absolutely correct. Fuck taking medical advice from laypeople.
