Of course it calls itself “anti-war” but this is what the promo shots look like:

The trailer makes it look like a typical war movie. But the protagonists are German soldiers. I’m sure there will be a scene or two that show they’re meanies.
I looked it up and one of the writers (Colin Teevan) for this movie was the lead writer for das boot.
Edit: Looks like they made a tv series with multiple seasons out of das boot and the author did the writing for the tv series and not the movie.
