    The Democrats had a Democrat who appealed to conservatives and drew them in.

    His name was Bernard Sanders, and they ratfucked him so that they could run a particularly hated and unpopular war criminal to lose an election that should have been a slam dunk for them.

    Democrats will sacrifice every vulnerable minority in an attempt to court CHUDs so that they don’t have to do the one thing that would actually win them votes from CHUDs: throw the working class a couple economic bones.

    Of course, my previous sentence buys into the idea that the Democrats actually want to attract CHUD voters, which I don’t believe. I think they are just using “we have to appeal to the center!” as a way to cover the right-ward lurches they want to make anyway.

    Even by their shitty definition the democratic party has barely started being cool on LGB issues and they struggle with the T inclusion like it’s a herculean feat to ask of them because they constantly complain about how new it is. Orthodoxily.

    It is 2052. The Democrats continue to chase the mythological pro-Trump voter who will, for some reason, choose not to vote for the mask-off ultrafascism this time. Republicans sweep every state but Vermont. Democrats decide they have to get even more racist this time.

        Unfortunately the only one of those I know was a hunting rifle that could literally do that while on safety and unattended. Like it was fucking haunted or something. They recalled them after some deaths. Another win for safety standards under capitalism: the unsafest gun.

        (look up the Remington 700, they knew possible problems in the 70s, the recall was a decade-ish ago)

          The P320 (the new service pistol going out to US troops and LEO agencies) has had quite a few reports of accidental discharge. Early reports were about it going off if dropped at a certain angle from a certain height, but recent reports have it going off while holstered.

          There are dozens of YouTube videos that go into it, And most of them do a better job describing the design defects, and the quality control issues, than I can.

          Edit Idk if this person gave him a P320, but I hope so.

    We keep being told that a third party is impossible and we must settle the lesser of two evils. Then along comes Jeremy Corbin and Zarah Sultana, who set up Your Party, whose size already matches the Labour party. Makes you wonder what would have happened if Bernie Sanders had a spine and would have been willing to reject his Zionist and neoliberal overloads. But no, just another gaslighting liberal do-nothing.
