The western media seems so collectively baffled as to why the nation winning the war is making significant demands during peace talks. Like what did they expect? That Russia would be like “Oh sure you can have all this land back, and hell you want some of ours too? Were feeling generous today.”
Its like they got so caught up in the “Russias losing 100k troops per day” bullshit they cant compute that Russia is winning.
Huh? His handlers as in who? Isn’t this exactly what the republicans were saying about Biden? Trump isn’t being fed lies any more than any other US President is steeped in lies because of their twisted imperialist and capitalist world view. He’s just evil, and so is every other American politician.
Western media failed to adapt to the world where the west can’t simply dictate terms to other countries. All these articles rest on the assumption that Russia can simply be forced to do what the west wants. We see similar bafflement with China and the whole overproduction narrative as if China is supposed to just restructure the economy to make it easier for the west to compete.
I actualy read something not that long ago that decided to just redefine terms so that “china is winning but not that much” part of the evidence being that some companies are moving production to Vietnam, and if that happens on mass all that is doing is setting Vietnam up to be in the same postion with the west China is in right now
