Fairly sure we’re in the prelude/opening act of WWIII since fascism pretty much demands imperial and colonial domination and rapacious expansion since it’s an outgrowth of capitalism. IDK. A lot of people are going to die between that and climate change, like a lot. Billions I think.
i wrote a big effort post but I was too sad to post it. i hate this country
WW3 is a fairly optimistic outcome. The US doesn’t have it in us to fight like we once did. So if anyone actually calls our bluff we will lose. The only thing that keeps the US safe is that there is nothing worth blowing up here. The downside to that defence is that there is nothing worth blowing up. So if it came to it we’d collapse rapidly. Since we have so many nukes the big powers would have to step in. And since we have no will to fight we can be bought easily. The actual violence there would end up being less than the millions we slowly drip feed the machine to keep Wallstreet going.
It was simply the despair of realizing again that a yard of human skin is worth more to some people than the life of the person from whom it was flayed.
not good at all unfortunately
extreme doomerism actually
