Some people can only get into competitive multiplayer stuff and can’t enjoy single player at all. I’ve thought for a long time it’s maybe a generational thing. Games didn’t have reliable internet multiplayer until I was like 16, so my options for multiplayer back then were either the arcade that was 34 miles away, or the rare case my cousins were visiting and wanted to play Street Fighter.
