At first I figured they were deluding themselves into thinking it would achieve some kind of FALGSC without the GAY or COMMUNISM part. But I don’t really see that, they more just gloat about it doing away with artists and teachers and stuff.

They’re ok with people outside heteronormativity, as long as they’re monetarily wealthy and morally bankrupt.
Okay so just without the communism part. But even then, I don’t really see what their bright future is going to be.
Perhaps that’s it: they are philosophically myopic. They don’t have a grand vision for the future because they live in a world of two-week project sprints, quarterly earnings reports, and maybe some doodad they preordered for Christmas.
There’s no building a better world for their children, there’s at best near-term treats that distract from a collapse they can barely comprehend, let alone respond to.
I think the game ends when the last billionaire or trillionaire has literally eaten the second - to -last one and starves to death; at least for humans. :-/
