Man, I fucking loved that game. It was the first one I ever played on GC, and after the first playthrough, I used an Action Replay to play through it again but with the sanity meter always completely depleted. It’s a shame it never got a remaster, because it was so clearly a port from the N64 that missed the launch window and had to be released on GC.
I did play this as a kid, I think I finished the roman and the zombie catholic and then the bad vibes of the hub world whispering got to me one night and I just put the game down entirely.

I had it, I don’t really remember much about it, it was okay I guess? I think most of the fourth-wall breaking ‘scary’ stuff became a bit trite after you see it for like, the third time, and the gameplay ended up being a bit clunky (trying to out-range monsters you can’t see to chip damage them rather than fighting head on, repetitive spell cycles).
