My guy, there’s a clear difference between a video game having a lesbian couple as “politics” and straight up dehumanizing immigrants by comparing them to the flood.
Thinking back, I’m recalling more and more sus shit in Halo.
Good thing I almost exclusively played it for the multiplayer.
Also this isn’t “politics in games” it’s the white house using copyrighted IP for memes. Real life isn’t halo!

Yeah but someone posted yesterday about how the plot really tracks as a loose 9/11 revenge fantasy where the covenant are muslims and it kinda tracks. Iirc they said the arbiter was originally “the dervish” even.
While the first Halo might get a pass because it was in development before :eleven-nine: the rest of the games definitely do not!
