Honestly, as someone moderately capable with tech and with looking up technical questions, with a very limited budget for these types of lump sum expenses, I’d buy premium hardware at bargain bin pricing with that kind of horrible defaults, assuming it didn’t prevent you from using advanced tools to uninstall all of that shit, or just installing a whole different OS, knowing that they expect to make money off it because the majority of users aren’t willing to do that and will just put up with it.
