Captain America stands for all the good things from US propaganda, fine, but he also stands for the idea that the US is actually unique in wanting those things, the closest to achieving them, a flawed but ultimately good nation, which is a load of horse shit. A Captain America who actually fights for a nation where every man, woman, and child is equal is a Captain America who promptly gets killed by his country.
The guy who plays the current Captain America said something like that in an interview once, like he’s now grown as a hero who encompasses more than just America, basically implying that he would fight for more than just America, and the principles he stands for are represented and valued by more than just America, and he got dog-piled by criticism. US American chuds don’t want to hear it lol.

There’s a comic where Captain America doesn’t get frozen after WWII and they send him to fight in more wars
He eventually joins the Vietcong
I would think he would probably have joined up to fight for the DPRK, but Vietnam is the war we’re culturally capable of admitting we’re wrong about

If it was Anthony Mackie, I’m guessing it’s also
It was, and you’re almost certainly correct lol
