We’re in for another two weeks of struggling, yet we are also never alone in these struggles. I hope that all of you find some respite despite the issues you’re facing, and that you know you are appreciated, loved, and respected here.

As always, we ask that in order to participate in the weekly megathread, one self-identifies as some form of disabled, which is broadly defined in the community sidebar:
“Disability” is an umbrella term which encompasses physical disabilities, emotional/psychiatric disabilities, neurodivergence, intellectual/developmental disabilities, sensory disabilities, invisible disabilities, and more. You do not have to have an official diagnosis to consider yourself disabled.
Mask up, love one another, and stay alive for one more week.

Wow your sound and song concepts sound exactly like what I’ve been looking for lately! I wish you the best with your band and I hope we can find a way to safely share your music with some of us whenever it’s ready.
Oh and here is one of my new favorite songs that deals with alcohol use, Drink by Destroy Boys. Maybe it could further inspire your sound and song ideas.
Dang I kind of dig that song.
So we had a chat with me, the guitarist, and the drummer and now they are wanting to do more slam and deathcore stuff but I said from the beginning that I was hoping to hit that early 2000’s hardcore sound. I guess we shall see where this goes. If they wanna go heavier, I don’t have the talent on bass or vocals lol
Glad you liked it!
And I’m with you, it would be nice to hear that 2000s sound come back. Good luck with your dilemma.
