the allies commissioned a bunch of these during the occupation i believe so i don’t think this one is explicitly pro communist. i think this one is based on the fight between Ashkbous and Rostam in Shahnameh which is a pretty popular fight for painters. the text around the paintings also seems to be an excerpt from that part of Shahnameh. the arrow in hitler’s heart says “red army” on it.
