I wish Japan wasn’t so comfortable with outright pedophilia. It’s hard to find works from the country that don’t go into uncomfortable territory when it comes to minors.

Damn that was my first (and last) fire emblem game, I just recognized Marth from Super Smash Bros and figured I’d give it a shot. I didn’t know it was Pedophilia: The Game
They are good SRPGs and the roster is big enough to just bench the dragons and ignore them for the vast majority of the game (and skip all the romantic supports). But your personal tolerance will vary.
The anime culture around loli and shit are bizarre but what really bothered me was the story of Nobuhiro Watsuki, the author of Rurouni Kenshin, that got caught with tons of CSAM, so much that people think that he didn’t only consume that shit but produce it and distributing it. This garbage human being is still praised and the vast majority of mangakas drew shit tons of art for the commemoration of whatever many years of Rurouni Kenshin.
Yeah I remember his case. It’s like anime has this thing where you’ll have good adult characters then there’s the arbitrary child character solely for the pedophile otaku in the audience and I hate it.

This was recommended to me on a dating app by someone whose only other recommendation was Ancient Magus Bride.
I liked the Ancient Magus Bride anime, the production of it, the opening song is beautiful but fuck the history is so fucking bizarre.
