As you know, Israel wants to disarm Hamas.
Palestinians want a stop to the illegal colonization and a return to the 1967 borders, which seems legitimate but that’s unacceptable for Netanyahu.
So palestinians are left with violence as a last resort, and what would the pacifists do in their place, since legal means are useless ?
One side is clearly righteous here, the other don’t care about justice.
Call me naive or dumb, but i hope that one day, if they have two territories, then the security of both of them will be assured by a common army, good relations, etc.
And i just told two days ago that i won’t argue on Lemmygrad, but if you want zero jewish state in the world then you’re as partial/biased as the anti-palestinians, at least argue for the creation of an Israel in Europe or in the u.s. instead of its total disappearance(, and also, if i’m really ragebaiting, i’ll add that, just like one cannot be for the disparition of the only french state without being against the french, one cannot be for the disparition of the only jewish state without being against the jews) ← i don’t intend to have a debate with you, especially after almost two years of genocide, put you’re welcome to answer&insult me in the comments below, just please forgive me in advance for not answering, i don’t really feel like defending them currently.
From my understanding, israel was put in the region by western colonialist powers through force and would have no legitimacy whatsoever. Correct me if I’m wrong.
After what happened in gaza and and other places, the whole population of israel must be tried for genocide and individually sentenced, based on their participation, same as citizens and heads of states of other countries worldwide.
Since the palestinian people can not live peacefully with unconvicted warcriminals (who would?), the situation in gaza and all other surrounding areas must be stabilized by someone who only cares about the oppressed (who always are the only ones that matter) and then, the future of the region must be determined by all people who live there and nobody else.
This may mean a one state solution but it is only for them to decide and western intervention is out of the question from that point forward.
The only solution that can lead to peace is a single, secular, and democratic state with equal rights for everyone that prioritizes reparations and the right to return for all displaced Palestinians. Israel is a white supremacist ethno nationalist state that uses historical Jewish oppression as a strawman to link anti-Zionism with anti-semitism. There’s plenty of evidence for this from Zionism’s founders being atheists and admitting that their project was colonial, to the oppression of non-white jews such as the forced sterilization of Jewish, Ethiopian immigrants, to the rejection of Israel by jews worldwide. Judaism is a religion, not a nation, and advocating for a jewish state is no different than advocating for a christian state or an islamic state.
