I know that there are a lot of trans people on hexbear, and I know their beliefs are sincere. What I don’t understand is how they square the fact that they would be brutally suppressed, raped, tortured, murdered by the very groups/governments they unwaveringly love and support. It sickens me. Is it a manifestation of self-hatred? I just don’t get why they would degrade themselves like this.

    In their minds, China is a place where any instance of wrongthink gets you quietly disappeared into the night, never to be heard of again.

    Obviously a strawman, but libs crave for the world to behave like a Marvel movie with clear good and bad guys. In order to believe we (the collective west) are not the bad guys, we have to pretend our enemies’ societies are exhausting hell holes of repression and anguish. In their minds, there is no way they simply have a more hospitable society towards the downtrodden, it must be because they are simply taken out back and dumped in a river.

    You can tell because their accusations always match some real shit that occurs in the west, but dialed up to 11.
